The venue is only available for weddings for up to 40 guests.
After the party is over you have a romantic Devon honeymoon house all to yourselves. What bliss!
Hatswell Meadows is a contemporary country home set in 20 acres of private grounds. It allows you and your partner to hold your dream wedding ceremony and reception for friends and family amongst the beauty and romance of the Exe Valley.
The Wedding Venue
The house, which sleeps 8/10, is designed and finished to the highest standards to effortlessly provide a unique blend of comfort and luxury in every season of the year. Hatswell Meadows has a timeless and classical atmosphere. An unusual, yet ideal location to create an intimate dream wedding.
The Wedding Ceremony
Hatswell Meadows is approved for weddings and civil partnerships in two spectacular rooms; the lounge and the galleried hall.
The Celebration
This is where the fun begins as you can devise your own party. Self cater if you wish –there is a farmhouse style kitchen with an Aga. Or book a caterer of your own choice.
The house is spacious and easily accommodates buffets of up to 40 guests.
Unfortunately the garden is not suitable for marquees.

The Photographs
Hatswell Meadows is a private house with a large, landscaped garden and several terraces. The grounds are extensive and encompass a bluebell wood, ponds and exclusive river frontage onto the Exe with a rustic fishing hut as a backdrop.
